Renting Crooksbury

Crooksbury is available for rental all year round. It is normally rented weekly, though shorter periods may be possible outside the summer season and Christmas holidays. Bookings are allocated from January each year, though you are welcome to express interest before then. The weekly rents for 2025 are shown below (prices shown are for full weeks, please enquire for part weeks out of season). Note that rents are unchanged from 2024.

Crooksbury has a smart meter which shows that there is a large difference in electricity costs for guests according to the time of year, size of party and other factors. To make things fair, rent excludes electricity – which is charged at cost separately – based on actual usage. A deposit will be taken to cover this and any excessive wear and tear, in the final weeks before your holiday.

Please note the following:

• Rental periods start at 3pm and finish at 10am on Fridays
• Part weeks possible in low season – please enquire
• Well-behaved pets are welcome, but no more than two dogs please
• A 25% booking deposit is payable upon booking. In the event of cancellation a refund will only be provided if the booking is sold to another
• Rents include the cost of cleaning at the end of your holiday
• Rents exclude electricity costs. Electricity is used for heating and cooking. There is no gas, but there is a solar hot water panel. Also, wood fuel may be available for the stove to heat the living room, otherwise it can be purchased locally.
• Full payment is required before the start of your holiday. A second deposit will be taken with your final payment then the cost of the electricity that you use – and, if applicable, any breakages and excessive wear and tear – will be deducted from this. The balance will be returned within two weeks of the end of your holiday.
